  • Job Summary

    The Consultant will be responsible for providing professional business and information technology consulting services, both individually and as part of a project team.  Duties include providing subject matter expertise across the practice landscape and developing high quality client deliverables and work product, participating in, and where appropriate, leading project engagements, supporting practice-related business development and pre-sales activities, and participating in the creation of high valued-added practice methodologies, tools and deliverables.  This position may require travel to client sites that are located outside of the South Florida area. 


    •  Provide subject matter expertise across the management consulting practice landscape, and identify, develop and deliver appropriate operational and systems solutions to clients. Duties may include:
      • Participate in business process and operational assessments (process design and review) including documenting existing operations and processes, interviewing key client staff, etc
      • Undertake business analysis capturing “as is” operations and requirements, analyzing client operations and requests, understanding client requirements and identifying potential issues and risks that impact client operations, profitability and performance
      • Research business process and operational best practices, measure key performance indicators, be aware of market and industry trends and other performance and cost drivers
      • Provide business process improvement assistance, including developing and implementing process improvement strategies based on client business requirements and operational best practices to design “to be” operational strategies and approaches
      • Participate in internal controls reviews (design, review and testing), system reviews (design, implementation, testing and review).
      • Working with Auxis project team and management, and client senior management to develop and execute strategies to solve business challenges, deliver efficient, technology-based solutions, assess our client's current technology needs and assist with systems design and implementation to improve both enterprise-wide integration and profitability
      • Support operational strategy, requirements analysis, functional design and systems implementation activities on client engagements
      • Successfully interact and establish lasting relationships at both the senior management and C-level of a client’s organization.
      • Successfully up and cross sell on an engagement to broaden Auxis’ revenue generation scope impact.
    • Actively participate as part of the client pursuit team as required
    • Be knowledgeable of all Auxis' capabilities, promote and cross-sell these to clients and prospective clients. Actively engage other Auxis practice leadership as necessary to develop business.
    • Participate in the development and delivery of project deliverables, work product, proposals, statements of work, and contracts prior to submittal to the prospective client.



    Skills and Experience

    •  Minimum 2+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, supply chain or similar operational areas
    • Preferred 1+ years in a professional services (consulting or auditing) industry.
    • Fully bi-lingual in Spanish and English.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Self starter who can work with projects from start to finish. Ability to prioritize tasks and to work independently. Demonstrates initiative to follow up on pending issues and organize assigned work. Disciplined approach to business.
    • Ability to perform analyses with complex data and formulate perspectives on findings. Detail oriented and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Good interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills with an ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels are critical.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.), query report writers, etc. and familiarity with ERP Systems (Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, etc.)
    • Ability to collect, assimilate, retain, and analyze information on the business, including data collection and analysis, including modeling (i.e. excel) and research.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express oneself in a logical and concise manner are essential.
    • Team building skills and the ability to establish effective relationships and rapport with a wide variety of individuals will be crucial to success.
    • Bachelors Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, operations research, industrial engineering, supply chain, economics or related field. Masters Degree preferred.
    • CPA a plus.
    • Travel +50%, passport required.
