  • Job Summary

    The Data Program delivers reliable relevant timely and accurate information to support better business decisions through solutions that align with our corporate strategies.  This position is within the Operational Reporting area of the Data Program

    Responsibilities

    • Attending team meetings, standups, sprint ceremonies, and code reviews.
    • Review report requests, profile data, and determine best approach for delivering the request.
    • Development of reports, including the backend development (stored procedures written in SQL), frontend development (.rdl in Visual Studio), and unit testing.
    • Collaborate with other report developers, end users, and testers as requests flow through our process.
    • Documentation of reports, some include entity relationship diagrams and models.
    • Assisting with quality assurance testing (QA) of reports.
    • Collaborate with business users and or IT developers to understand the reporting and analytic requirements and acceptance criteria or testing requirements.
    • Follow Business Intelligence development coding standards and procedures.
    • Follow change management practices to comply with Sarbanes Oxley and other regulations as applicable.

     

    Skills and Experience

     

     

    • Bachelor or Master's degree required or experiences in related fields.
    • Thoroughly skilled in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), SQL and relational database.
    • Understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
    • Understanding of techniques, processes, and languages (SQL) for accessing data from structured environments as well as methods for accessing data from unstructured environments.
    • Possess strong communication, facilitation and conceptual thinking skills
    • Ability to quickly understand complex business information problems
    • Ability to clearly communicate insights from data analyses and ability to talk to technical and business audiences.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Fluent in English, written and verbal.
    • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
